Nicholas Hockaday

Post by jacob »

It was Nick's last night as well yesterday. He has been a fabulous Tall Boy and I for one shall miss him. Imagine having to do all those press-ups and having your head bashed against the Fire Curtain day after day :o . It was good to see his family and friends all there last night including his teachers!

He has a natural talent for theatre and enjoys working with a big cast.
Lots of luck for the future and hope to see you on stage again soon.

Think Nick's my most seen Tallboy. Actually he's the only one I can put a name to the face. It's been two years since he first started - on my last visit he seemed to be taller than the Billys. Hope to see him again in the future.
Good luck for you !!!

Nick is currently rehearsing Captain Stirrick with Jeremy James Taylor who founded National Youth Music Theatre. It will be on as part of the International Youth Arts Festival at The Rose theatre, Kingston on Thames in July. NYMT are performing Sweeney Todd too.

Sorry about that. There doesn't seem to be one good page about this year's festival. You have to search multiple pages. :?

The opening gala concert is tonight and will include excerpts from Captain Stirrick, Spring Awakening and NYMT doing excerpts from Sweeney Todd. Tickets still available. Some patrons expected.

Nick has just been a beggar with smallpox in Les Miserables the Movie - got to look carefully to spot him though!
