Do you sing and dance? BETM Toronto has posted an audition for "Adult Dancers who Sing" (Ensemble members) for Toronto for next Saturday (December 4):

Canada's thestar.com theatre critic, Richard Ouzounian, publishes a story this morning introducing the publication's readers to the four boys who will play Billy in BETM Toronto:

That seems strange, given the Chicago production closed early and they now have extra down time. :?:

Just for the record so as to eliminate any confusion...

Master Erlick spells his first name "Myles". I only bring that up because Marcus Pei's younger brother, who has been mentioned here on the Forum at times as he is also a dancer and is apparently following in his older brother's footsteps, spells his name "Miles".

Looks like BETM Toronto now has its own separate site. Not only that, but Kate Hennig's blog is continuing on there.

Numerous tweets from this afternoon about tech difficulties stopping the show.

For example:

I think union restrictions are probably a likely culprit. So what kind of curtain call did they do instead of the finale?

Apparently, the cast of BETM Toronto will participate in a charitable fundraising event on May 10, 2011. The public twitter of the gentleman who is the Chair of the event in Toronto, Lorne Simon (http://twitter.com/#!/SimonSaysPR/), tweeted this this morning:

"The Chief of Police Dinner for Toronto Crime Stoppers is only 6 weeks away. Good news Billy Elliot will be performing. Wanted Auction Items."

Here's some additional information from the organization's website:
