Does anyone know whether any of the creators of BETM have discussed or considered making it into a movie musical?
Isn't that the logical next iteration of the Billy Elliot story? It would seem like it would be a sound financial success, as well, given the immense international popularity of both the original movie and the stage musical.
If there were a movie version of the same quality as the stage musical, with all the same elements... I could watch it a thousand times.
Perhaps fans everywhere could start an online groundswell to encourage such a production.
