Billy Elliot Theater in Toronto Renamed

The venue at which BETM Toronto played for seven months earlier this year is no longer the Canon Theatre. As this article from thestar.com indicates, it has been renamed The Ed Mirvish Theatre:

Ed Mirvish has done so much to develop the theatre scene in Toronto, I think this is a great tribute for him. I only hope they don't do another corporate renaming in a few years.
Also, that marquis is gorgeous!

I just finally got used to calling it the Canon, after it being the Pantages Theatre for so many years.

For many years it was pretty much "The Phantom Theatre"

It was the Imperial Theatre for a while. That would have been confusing!
