Joe Pullara Imperial Theater House Manager has died

Post by mikey2573 »

I think he was the guy with the brown mustache who always stood on the stairs in the lobby by the ticket takers. He was there looking over the crowd, in his nice suit, at most performances. He's been the house manager there for 35 years.

In accordance with our rules about substantiating information with public links, I have found this to add to the post above.

My thoughts are with the Pullara family, the Imperial Theatre staff, and, of course, the Billy Elliot company members who worked with him on a daily basis.

Confirmed: The man I described in my initial post above was indeed Joe. I am sure many BETM fans saw him standing on those stairs as they entered the Imperial each time they saw the show.
