As opposed to the three regional productions that have been announced, Wichita and now Dayton are not "local" productions. This is a tour -- a production of the show being brought in from outside those areas. Yes, not knowing the details is frustrating. We'll just have to wait to hear more. But so far, it would appear this is a "brief stop" tour (both 3 days so far) and I wouldn't be surprised if we'll also see split weeks, like was done a couple of times on the International tour and also in smaller cities.

With regards to quality, it remains to be seen what it will be like, but probably not with as many "bells and whistles" as we've been used to.

The Wichita Theatre League website has quietly dropped any reference to Billy Elliot coming in 2014-2015:

It looks like Raleigh is still on. The site says BETM will be produced by North Carolina Theatre; whereas, Peter and the Starcatcher will be presented by North Carolina Theatre and Broadway Series South.

I gather that Peter is part of a tour, and BETM is not, so at some point, I will move BETM back to Regional Productions.
