Obviously, things have been in flux since it was announced that the San Francisco run would end earlier than planned, but let's just try to avoid a lot of speculation for the time being until we get some official word on the BETM website, Broadway World, Playbill, etc. about exactly what is going on.

I do expect that we will be getting some official word soon--probably as soon as tomorrow.

Sad, if true, but I am glad that Daniel Russell has had a great second run in the role, after the Australian tour closed. This economy is tiresome.

It's possible but a month ago we were told that show was closing as well:

I expect the Toronto run will continue until September 3 as planned. It would be lovely if they would decide to extend it where it is, but I am confident that it would not take the place of the current US Tour and start traveling around the country. That would make no sense at all.
