Don't forget Matilda fans, the cast will be performing a medley of songs from the show; 'Naughty', 'Revolting Children' and 'When I Grow Up' on Children in Need tonight as they open the show at 7.30pm.

I just watched it; it was absolutely outstanding!

I love this week every year; when the nation stops to raise money for Children In Need; nothing anywhere is as moving, or worthwhile.

Remember when Liam Mower did his bit?:

I know it may be audacious to say this on the forum about one of my favorite shows, but I have to say... 'Matilda' is my favorite musical at the moment. Don't worry Billy, you're a close second.

It certainly is a great show. Other than the fact that it has four leading ladies who are children, in comparison to four leading men in Billy Elliot who are children, I don't think you can really compare the two. The styles of the two shows are so different that I would not be able to say that one is better than the other, although I might like one better than I like the other.

As you may know, Sinatra, on the forum when we talk about the Billys, for instance, we don't ever compare them on a good/better/best basis, as each one is uniquely talented. So we talk about favorites, but we don't rank. If you were to expand on that idea, you would probably say that Matilda is your favorite musical at the moment, with Billy coming in second on your list of favorites.
