Les Misérables
Re: Les Misérables
LES MISERABLES is theatrical PERFECTION and could quite deservingly take the title as BEST MUSICAL EVER.
I think it is AMAZING and cannot quite decide whether BETM or LES MIS should take TOP SPOT, so they are equal NUMBER ONE on my ratings scale - as I like them for slightly different reasons!

This ties with Billy for my favorite musical.
I've seen it 7 times in London throughout the past year, and each time was amazing. It definitely isn't the most cheerful of musicals, but there's something about it that just makes me feel so uplifted every time I see it.

London:
Billy: Tanner x2, Fox x2, Tom x2, Brad x1
Micheal: Lewis x3, George x3, Dean x1
New York:

Les Mis is a masterpiece all right and come hell or high water I'm going to get back to this show before the end of the month. Its been far too long since I've seen it.

Re: Les Misérables
I personally find the music of Les Mis remarkable. I have four OCR recordings of it, including the French concept album, and the symphonic one.
However, I did not enjoy seeing it on stage, as once you have heard the OCRs, you have heard the whole show.
Just my opinion, which I do not consider humble at all.

Re: Les Misérables
Saw Les Mis again on saturday matinee with lots of new cast members. I particularly liked Eponine played by Nancy Sullivan.
