From the way this article reads, it would imply that there's only going to be one boy playing Billy. Does that seem plausible? Or is Kevin merely the first of several boys who will be announced to play Billy?

On the production company's facebookpage https://www.facebook.com/Scenekvelder someone asked the same question and got this answer:

Scenekvelder: Takk  Vi har også en utrolig flink understudy til Billy

This post, dated 11 August, on the Facebook page for the Norwegian Indie film 'Ballettguttene' may be a prediction of just how successful Billy Elliot will be in Norway!

Ballettguttene / Ballet boys have just had a very successful TV-premiere in Norway, every forth Norwegian watching telly that day, saw our film. That's incredible! Now the film is heading for Hong Kong International Film Festival!
