The video diaries keep coming on their facebook site; or look up "det ny teater" on youtube for a higher resolution. I realise the fight training is in english, the scenery is designed by Paul Farnsworth - so I suppose the whole production won't lack authenticity. A model of the scenery can be seen in 'scene opbygning' - which makes it quite obvious that they'll use their revolving stage instead of the the house spiralling out of the ground. The diaries however are more promising than the actual promotion clip - that's not really a teaser - even I could have done better.

Paul Farnsworth, set and costume designer, shows off the set in progress:

This sounds like the set is going to be absolutely fantastic. :D

It looks interesting. I have to say, these regionals are providing new life to a musical that deserves it.

I wonder if London, after it closes and reopens in the next two years or so, will preserve its present set; or look to something new and as good, if not better?

Live theatre is not meant to become static; it is meant to breathe life.
