MTI has listed a license for performance of BETM at the Drury Lane Theatre, Oakbrook Terrace, Illinois, from 03/26/2015 - 06/07/2015. While that seems like a very long run, I note that Les Mis is there for a similar lengthy run (March 29th-June 8th 2014) - so Chicago could be in for another long run of BETM in 2015!

From Wikipedia:
Drury Lane Oakbrook Terrace opened in 1984, and is located at the intersection of Kingery Highway, Butterfield Road, and Illinois Route 38 (Roosevelt Road) in Oakbrook Terrace. The venue benefited from what DeSantis had learned over the years. The facility uses local performers to keep costs down; the theatre is surrounded by bars, restaurants and banquet rooms; shows are limited to musicals; and there is no charge for parking.

Re: Drury Lane Theatre, Oakbrook, Illinois
If the show does in fact end up being produced at the Drury Lane, I expect that Susie McMonagle will be tapped to play Mrs. Wilkinson. She has been at the Drury Lane before: http://chicagocritic.com/normal-ar-drur ... k-theatre/

The Chicago Tribune has just published this short article about the upcoming Drury Lane regional presentation of BETM:

I think we can take this as confirmation that it will happen.

Here is the announcement from Playbill.
http://m.playbill.com/jobs/find/job_detail/63133
It mentions the Drury Lane Actors Equity scale and conditions. Although this recently expired, here are the specifics (up to June 8th 2014).
http://www.actorsequity.org/docs/rulebo ... _10-14.pdf
Although well out of date (2007), this interesting article explains AE rates in the Chicago region; the figures give a comparative analysis of theaters' conditions and rates of pay in the region.
http://articles.chicagotribune.com/2007 ... non-equity
I believe the rates were somewhat higher at Ogunquit. Principles and minors would probably be paid differently.

This popped up - the first announcement about tickets. Interesting to note that there is a one-price system for each show. I guess the early bird gets the best seats!
