Well it was announce on October 25, 2013 for Ongunquit and today for THE MUNY ANNOUNCE THEY ARE Both GOING TO PUT ON BILLY ELLIOT!!!!!!! Next summer. Omg I wish I live in one of those states, I might have to go and take a trip to go see it.

While there has been no official announcement yet (MUNY's full summer 2014 schedule will be announced later this weekend) and therefore no firm dates for BETM, the MUNY Facebook page is claiming it will be the first theater to regionally produce the show (so take that Ogunquit Playhouse - which hasn't announced it's production dates either).

It's interesting that while Ogunquit Playhouse uses the traditional logo from the North American shows:

The Muny likes to create their own posters for their productions then broadway/tours posters. They are creative. Also probably they thought theybwill be first they announce it 7 days ago where muny announce it today. So most likely you would think if you were them if you were first to announce it.
