Favorite Changes

As adaptations are made by regional and school productions to the BETM of Broadway and the Tour, there is a mix of bad and good changes. This topic is dedicated to capturing what your favorite changes are, where you saw them and perhaps why they are meaningful to you.

To kick things off, I'll steal what will probably be foremost on others' minds as well, the Dream Ballet at Jupiter, FL. While it is not the first use of the mirrors in that production, it all builds up to the opening of that scene. Billy starts dancing alone in front of a mirror and then the mirror turns see-through so the audience can see Older Billy literally mirroring Billy's movements. I can't express in words why it is so brilliant, it's just a really exhilarating and magical sight to behold.
