This has not been listed yet, by MTI, but auditions have been called, and it appears on the theatre's website. A good opportunity for the Hexagon Theatre's cast to have another go.

Patrons can ring in the new year with a blockbuster event. “Billy Elliot, The Musical” will be presented by Pierrot Productions for three weekends, Dec. 30 to Jan. 15, including New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day. Featuring a score by music legend Elton John, this inspiring tale chronicles a young boy's journey from boxing to ballet, battling the odds to make his dream come true.

This production has been postponed from December, 2016 to September, 2017.

This article briefly explains why it was postponed:
. It seemed a good choice when it turned out that 'Billy Elliot, The Musical' a large scale production that was originally scheduled for three weekends in this winter time slot at Kelsey could not be readied on time due to casting problems. That show has been rescheduled for later this year in September."

It would appear BETM will not take place this September either. The current schedule shows
Memphis and
Barefoot in the Park for September.
