According to this newspaper article Thomas Kvamme Urnes has been cast as Michael. It's a very interesting article about the auditioning process. It sounds like they told the boys still at the audition that they've got the part of Michael.
I posted this article in the general thread before because there was no formal confirmation. Well there still was no formal confirmation
but Thomas is featured in this video on the of a Billy Elliot workshop as one of the three Michaels so I thought that was confirmation enough
