The topic says "Coming to Iceland - March 7 - May 25", but it is still running. What is the new closing date?

As I indicated in the Iceland Tracking thread, after a summer hiatus, the show will start up again. Not sure if a final show date has been firmly established, but a new block of tickets for the month of September has been released for sale:

The start of this awards show has a great mash-up of Stars/Angry Dance which features all of the Billys. The choreography obviously has some differences, but it definitely gives you an idea of the quality of the production. The first Billy starting in Angry Dance, Hjortur, is the one I saw. He was amazing as I'm sure they all are. It was a privilege to be able to see this production and I can't recommend it highly enough. I'm still gathering my thoughts together in order to try to write a little something up in the review section.

Thanks for the link. It was really interesting to see that video.

Tickets for October will go on sale later this month and from late September you can book for the November performances. So it seems Billy won't retire any time soon in Iceland :)

These were confirmed by the theatre.

I highly recommend the Icelandic show, although the ticket price went up, in March I booked tickets for 5200 and 6200 ISK (I got 1000 ISK discount for unknown reasons) and now they are on sale for 7500 ISK

Anyway, I will go back to see one show only on the 5th September. No matinee performance :(

Last time I was in Iceland I bought a sandwich and a softdrink for 2500,- Kr at the airport. Compared to that, the theatre tickets seems really cheap. But still today 7500,- ISK compares to 36£. Still no reason to complain.

I agree. 7500kr is still good for such a quality production, especially in such an otherwise expensive country. Highly recommended.

Bjarni Kristbjörnsson, who played Michael has been given training to become 4th Billy in Iceland.
It's another indicator that the show won't end there anytime soon.
