The Ogunquit Playhouse Facebook page posted an update for three if its BETM actors. Ensemble member Conor DeVoe will join Sam in North Carolina as member of the ensemble and as Assistant Choreographer.
What’s next for Billy Elliot actors Madge Dietrich, Conor DeVoe and Sam Faulkner? Dietrich is currently spreading holiday cheer for all to hear in Elf at Paper Mill Playhouse through January 4. DeVoe (also seen as Valentine in our production of Mary Poppins at The Music Hall earlier this month) reprises his roles as a member of the ensemble and as Assistant Choreographer in Billy Elliot at North Carolina Theatre in February alongside Faulkner who reprises his role as Billy. For more, follow these wonderfully talented people on Twitter: @MADGEikal / @ConorDeVoe / @samfaulkner5678.

LAST CALL!

Billy Elliot the Musical at Oqunquit is doing very well in the final stages of the 2014 BroadwayWorld Maine awards vote. Noah, the cast and the production crew are leading in many categories, including Best Musical and Best Dancer. There are several categories where the lead is a tie between BETM and another. At this stage, every last minute vote could make the difference and push BETM over the top - and sweep the majority of categories in a very hot race.

If you can spare a moment to support Noah, and the cast and crew of BETM, I know it will be hugely appreciated. It was stated that BETM was the most successful show in the 83 year history of the Ogunquit Playhouse; here is our chance to vote that accolade into the history books! Votes will be checked and verified; so please do not invoke the old political adage 'Vote early and vote often!' 8-)
