Noah's last performance of the Nutcracker at the Boston Ballet was Saturday the 27th. Two days later, he is in pre-rehearsals for BETM in California. Talk about a whirlwind end to a fantastic year!

The photo montage he is holding in the Alex Theater Facebook entry is interesting: the stage looks to be dominated by huge girder-like towers. I wonder whether, and how, they will be incorporated into the story, or will they be hidden from view?

Did anyone spot any familiar cast faces amongst the group, besides Noah?

It definitely looks like an interesting set design.

The only familiar face we would expect to spot would be Jake's, and he doesn't seem to be in these photos. The cast was announced on 12/18 in the BroadwayWorld article linked in Noah's thread.
The Cast for BILLY ELLIOT features: Noah Parets as Billy (National Tour, Billy Elliot), Vicki Lewis as Mrs. Wilkinson, Jake Kitchin as Michael (Broadway & National Tour, Billy Elliot), Jamie Torcellini as George, Marsha Waterbury as Grandma, Kim Huber as Billy's Mum, Brandon Forrest as Adult Billy, Neil Dale as Mr. Braithwaite, Sammy Gayer as Debbie, and the Ensemble will feature (In alphabetical order): Andrew Blake Ames, Brooke Besikoff, Emma Bradley, Michael Dotson, Jeremy Duvall, Zachary Hess, Olivia Knox, Emilie Lafontaine, Tyler Ledon, Julia Nicole Massey, Jenna McConnell, Bruce Merkle, McKenna Perez, Gary Lee Reed, Benni Ruby, Brian Steven Shaw, Hannah Jean Simmons, Ashley Kiele Thomas, Brooklyn Vizcarra, and Justin Wilcox.

This announcement seems to have left out two very minor characters: Dad and Tony. :?

Jamie Torcellini, who will play George, was a member of the ensemble and understudied George on Broadway and in Chicago:

He is pictured next to the man in the hat in this photo of the La Mirada cast:

Break a leg (or 'Merde' if you are a dancer!) to the cast!!!!......I hope the theatre is packed to the ceiling, as this co-production is very much an effort to raise the profile of this historic theatre, on a rebound from near loss.

Today's Glendale News-Press cites the success of this past weekends performances of BETM at the recently refurbished Alex Theatre as great news for that theatre's future:

The author of that letter is chairman of the board of directors of Glendale Arts, managers of the Alex Theatre. How wonderful that Billy Elliot the Musical would be so helpful in the expansion of this great performing arts center!
