5th Birthday Limited Edition Programme

Post by JohnH »

I know Nikkie has already posted this but thought it deserved a special mention! :)

Thought you might like to post on your forum that we are expecting a new programme to go on sale for the 5th Birthday on Wednesday.

It will have a special Birthday cover to celebrate the occasion, and will be a “limited” edition. (I think it will be on sale for a month or so)

I am quite happy for you to post my merchandise email address again (merchandise@victoriapalace.co.uk) for anyone who isn’t coming to the show in the near future to order a copy by mail order.

Yours Truly,

Mary Malone

“It is a great show that people do come and see. Because it's not
just a show for adults, or just for children, or just for people that
like theatre, I'd say for everyone, and it's got so much emotion
behind it. Because who ever comes and sees it, feels the story -
so I think: it's brilliant!" (GM)

Does it really cost 20 pounds to ship to the US as the online Billy store charges? I'd love one, but I can't really justify paying 4 times the price of the programme in shipping alone!

I e-mailed Mary Malone at the V.P. using the e-mail address given here ( merchandise@victoriapalace.co.uk ) and there do appear to be less expensive options for those wanting to order a programme by mail. Here is her reply to me:
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

We can happily sort a programme for you.

I can do it by mail order, which would cost £5 for the programmes and another £3.50 for the P&P.

I will just need your credit card details (unfortunately we don't take Amex or Diners), the long card number, expiry date and the 3 digit security code from the signature strip at the back.

Please also just confirm that the address you’ve given below is where you’d like me to send it.

Yours Truly,

Mary Malone

I was just wondering what is so special about this programme? I am thinking of getting one sent to me, except it is going to cost around $50.00 which is slightly insane. What are the differences in this one, or is it just a different cover?

Thanks, Meagan :)

It's mostly just a different cover. I got mine in the mail today. It was nice because it's updated with all the new London Billy's, and since I saw Dean Charles on his second show he wasn't in the program I bought at that time. Also the billy hall of fame page is updated with all the London billy's up through Rhys. But as far as 5th birthday goes, I think only the cover is different from the normal program. Hope this helps Meagan!
