Grandstreet is Montana’s premiere community theatre with almost 40 years of continuous service. Sustained by volunteers from an exceptionally talented population, Grandstreet also trains over 400 K-12 students each year in our nationally recognized Grandstreet Theatre School. Each year we produce 10-12 plays and musicals in a beautifully preserved 200-seat turn-of-the-century romanesque granite church and an additional 45-seat black box studio. And one of the Tony Award-winning actors who played the role of Billy Elliot in the 2009 production, Trent Kowalik, emailed Grandstreet’s Billy on opening night, wishing him good luck, to “have fun and break a leg.”
