Although we know that Brandon is from Media PA, and that the Media Theatre will be producing BETM from mid-Nov to early Jan. 2015/2016 - no official announcement has been made that Brandon will be playing Billy there.

Well, here it is (in a roundabout fashion):

I see Media, PA is a 2.5-hour drive from me.

Hm.

The Media, PA show runs 7 weeks, with 7 performances/week. That's one of the longest runs so far of any regional production. I would hope they have two Billys lined up. Glad to hear Brandon is one of them.

It's a 6 hour drive for me, which is quite doable unless Old Man Winter gets in the way.

Lots to do in the Media, PA area, especially around the holiday season. It will be worth it to stay for several days. I will post suggestions after Billy Elliot The Musical Live airs on PBS October 23rd, since this should increase public interest and attendance.

This BroadwayWorld article discusses Roger Ricker's 'Good Vibration' concert, which will feature Brandon Ranalli as the guest star.

Of equal importance is the first ever mention of Media's Second Billy: Gunar Daniels (12), another local boy from West Chester PA:

I have now moved Brandon's thread into the new Cast section for Media Theatre.

According to his mother's Facebook:
Such a great weekend at YAGP! Brandon Ranalli was awarded first place in Senior Men’s classical. Feeling very grateful to all his teachers, present and past, who have had a hand in making him the dancer he is today! Congrats to all who competed this weekend—I was blown away by the level of talent!
He took part in the Philadelphia YAGP.
