According to this statement in the article, some company in Virginia is preparing to perform the show this spring:
Mahn said that “Billy Elliot” is a significant production for Hexagon Players. The troupe is one of the first amateur companies in the United States to stage the show. (A theater in Virginia is also preparing to mount the musical this spring.)
Can anyone find out which theatre that is supposed to be? I haven't seen any Virginia references on the list so far.

Could it be Spring 2017?

Thanks. The auditorium is at West Potomac High School, so the question then becomes whether this is a community or school production.

Parker shared on his public Facebook an 'award' he received for covering for a few amusing mishaps that occurred during the recent run at Hexagon Players. This is why live theater is so much fun. :P

So proud to have won this "award" for my run of #BETM. Things often happen in #livetheater for example, one night the SM forgot to preset the tutu, so I found a headband that's been left on stage by a ballet girl and Michael and I did the whole scene about a headband instead of a tutu, ha ha!
