Poor producers of Matilda.
Another person got injured. Chris sieber who was going to come into role of Miss Trunchbill will be delay because of injurys due to getting them in rehearsals. By my understanding of this I think they need to find strong actors this isn't first time this happen. http://m.playbill.com//news/article/188792

Here's a nice video feature about the show's "Newtildas":

I saw this last night. While Emma was not on for young Violet, they did give her a nice spotlight in one of the choir/gospel scenes. She danced the heck out of the scene!

My Prediction in the future for this show. Chris injury heels, after hurting his hand again(which did happen after first one delay again because of injury who was suppose to start tuesday) http://www.playbill.com/news/article/18 ... sal-Injury
Starts his performance, then gets injure again with his hand. So he has to leave show, Ben takes over again, then chris can't come back to show because of his injury. Ben takes over the role full time. Then in 6 months a new person will take role, but can't because of another injury. This doesn't look good for the show.
Poor guy hope he gets better soon. I was really hoping to hear how well a trunchbull he is.

A lice outbreak has apparently hit the cast of Matilda. This gives new meaning to some of the names Miss Trunchbull calls the children.
...“at least six of the children” in the show have lice and producers are itching to get the outbreak under control.

It seems hard to believe but the third class of young Matildas will start in the next few weeks. It looks like the girls only get about nine months in this show. Welcome to Tori Feinstein, Eliza Holland Madore, Brooklyn Shuck and Fina Strazza. Break a leg girls!

The tenure seems to fit nicely around a school year.

Perhaps for this group it does. The previous Matildas ran from March-December and December-September, which don't fit quite as nicely with the school calendar.
