BETM NL Website Redesigned

Post by porschesrule »

The official website of Stage Entertainment, the producers of BETM NL, has been redesigned and has a new look, including the Billy Elliot pages:

A bit disappointing that the cast-list hasn't been updated; Jillis left the show almost two months ago and is still on there!

Wow, I just wanted to book tickets, and there's a "service fee" and a "system fee" and even a fee for allowing me to print the tickets myself. Rip-off, if you ask me. Also I think they should sell row 1a for a special price, it's like row A in London and still costs the whole price... :/

I just booked seats for the first weekend in august for I guessed this would be a good weekend to stage some final or first shows for the Billys. Ticket prices are higher, but there are less fees. Strange... also I noticed that actually most (!) seats are still available. Ticket sales seem to be great for the whole July, what's up with August? I hope this doesn't mean it gets canceled sooner...

This is speculation. August is the month when many Europeans take their annual holiday (it is not unknown for EU workers to receive up to four weeks paid holiday a year). If that is the case in the Netherlands, then the dearth of sold tickets may be due to the fact that people are planning on a holiday away from home, and haven't thought much about the theatre. Those tickets will be snapped up by tourists, who tend to purchase them at the last moment.

Well, I hope so, kport! Don't want to sit there all alone... or let me think about it, why not, my most emotional moment with BETM was when I watched the dvd alone, so why not in the theatre, too? :D

It should be noted that, like many other Dutch folks, the cast/crew of BETMNL will also have a two week hiatus during the weeks of August 3-16, 2015, when no shows are scheduled.

Yes, another reason to believe this will be a cast-leavers-weekend. The house should be full! :) I hope for some regulars from London coming over.
