Aaron Watson - Fundraising for Gt Ormond Street

Post by burtond »

Some fantastic news which Aarons Dad has asked me to post.

Some £4,300 was handed over to Gt Ormond Street Hospital at a special hospital event a few weeks ago. This money which included Aaron's first weeks wage and the contents of the bucket collections after selected Billy Elliot shows at the Victorial Palace Theatre was presented by Aaron Watson (Billy Elliot, London) in support of the famous Children's Hospital which played such an important role for Aaron personally as a young child.

At the event which was also attended by Andrew Lloyd Webber and Queen of the Vic, Barbara Windsor (amongst others) Aaron and Sergio (who plays Alternative Older Billy) performed an except from the Dream Ballet sequence to the delight of everyone present.

Well done Aaron - such a lovely story.
An ex-Regular and someone who was Passionate about the show but who has now found the rest of the WEST END.

It is a wonderful story, and one, I believe, which speaks volumes as to the composition of Aaron's character. Bravo, Aaron!
