I'll stand for that!

When I saw Ryan's Electricity 10 days ago, it was as good as any I have seen. He is dynamite.

You get a standing ovation from me, for that

Howdo wrote:Thoroughly deserved, prolonged and virtually unanimous standing ovation for Ryan this afternoon
I thought we had put this item to bed but I cannot allow this extraordinary statement to go unchallenged. To claim that virtually everyone stood up is preposterous. There was prolonged and thunderous applause after Ryan's incredible Electricity but the vast majority remained seated although I suspect that many, including me, felt like leaping to the high heavens and doing a celebratory jig. At the curtain call the vast majority (rightly) rose to their feet to acclaim what was yet another awesome Ryan performance.

In fairness I wonder if this thread should now be locked. The key points have been made and by remaining open it is inevitable that recriminations will rumble on if we are not careful.

As long as the discussion remains civil, I don't think it needs to be locked. However, I will lock it if things get out of hand.

I've read the entire thread and don't think it's gotten out of hand. Just different points of views, no big deal.
