Billy Elliot the Forum

The Broadway section has now been collapsed. All topics not remaining in the active Broadway section have been moved to the new Broadway Archive which is located in the Forum Archive. The Forum Archive can be found in the Applies to All Forums section.

The former US Tour section of the forum has been renamed to reflect the fact that the tour will also visit Canada. The new title is Billy Elliot - United States/Canada Tour.

It's great that they're including Canada now in the tour and the title I'm sure Ty is excited to go back to his home town!

The company hasn't changed the title on the tour's official website. The ticketing page there still refers to it as the US Tour.

Also, Ty is from Newmarket in the greater Toronto area, not Ottawa, which is five hours away according to Google Maps. But perhaps he will get to make it home for a visit at some point.

The main BETM website calls it the "North America Tour".

Glad to know that. However, when you click on the link from that page to the ticketing page, it still says "US Tour." Maybe they will bring it all into line eventually.

I am glad to see that the tour is no longer ending in Boston. Hopefully they'll be adding even more dates in the future.
