I wonder how hard it is to keep in character when a performance receives such great reception, and to not milk it with lots of bows and kisses to the audience :p

Before she was Mrs Wilkinson, she was Nancy! Here are three songs from her time in Oliver, from the Royal Variety Performance of 1994.

Be sure to check out Sally's own thread in the Former Cast UK section.

I was privileged to be at Michael's final performance as Billy ever, down in Charlotte, North Carolina. The raucous applause he got shook the building, and some of us even shouted out his real name from the audience. He glanced at us, and I'm sure saw his own mom and dad in the audience too, and was trying very hard to stay composed amid many tears. You can see this in some of his final performances on So You Think You Can Dance Australia. Can't imagine how difficult it is to appreciate the moment but stay in character at the same time.

This one? :D
I also wonder how hard it would be to stay "in accent" and not let the real voice slip through.

I am going to say this, but I am not going to remove these links since the Broadway show and tour have long since closed.

We do not condone the posting of links to illegally-made videos, which these two are. They slipped by us at the time, or else they would have been removed.

Even if you did not see the Ogunquit show, any BETM fan will find this fun. BETM Ogunquit cast member Adam Sarette created a video "Twitchy That Walk":

The cast of BETM at Ogunquit Playhouse takes on a music video mash-up of the songs from the show, in a parody of drag superstar's RuPaul's "Sissy That Walk".

This is a lot of fun showing scenes back stage, on the beach, and around the beautiful town and beaches of Ogunquit, Maine USA. You will see Billys Sam and Noah show off some of their dance skills, Alec's rap version of "Express", and watch for Small Boy Henry's take on Small Boy's famous exit line.
