YouTube Clips (NOT Billy Elliot Related)
Re: YouTube Clips (NOT Billy Elliot Related)
LOVE it Thanks Pat
Re: YouTube Clips (NOT Billy Elliot Related)
That is a lovely video, Pat.
Two recent viral videos in the UK feature Tom Fletcher, of the band McFly. One is a moving speech he gave at his wedding; the other is an amazing video featuring the product of that union.
I mention it here because Tom is one of the 'good guys' of pop music (Justin Bieber - take note) and, not only did he go to the Sylvia Young School in London (his wife was a fellow pupil), but he was 'Oliver!' at the London Palladium aged 10; and was in the music video of Mike and the Mechanics' 'Over My Shoulder' about the same age:
An Epic Bridegroom's Speech - or is it a full blown musical? (he composed the lot):

What a statement from a New Dad!:

These are long videos, but I think they are more than worth the effort!
(Wouldn't he make a great Tony?)

I'm pretty sure that as the camera pans round you can see Josh Baker in the background at about 11:50 mins.
Great to be reminded of. He certainly has a good pedigree for the Tony role.

What is so special..about an ad about a carrot?
I don't know what it is, but this ad strikes a chord...the music.....the message?
You just don't see ads this good on tv very often. I cannot imagine one this good from Kroger...or WalMart.
This is Art.

I agree, that is a great advertisement. It gets its point across in a sweet, humorous way. Thanks for posting the link.
That reminded me about another wonderful ad from Hovis:

This deserved the Cannes Lion Award:

Quite a comment on the power of social media.
I found this courtesy of the Northern Ballet's facebook page as part of their promotion for their children's production of "The Three Little Pigs."

Wow that is really cool! It shows how a story can easily get out of control.

Re: YouTube Clips (NOT Billy Elliot Related)
And now for something really HAPPY! The phenomenon of groups from around the world making videos of themselves dancing to Pharrell Williams' "Happy" is so much fun that I thought it's worth sharing a link to the list of videos here for everyone to enjoy.

Have a HAPPY day, everyone! (Happy, happy, happy, happy. Happy, happy, happy, happy.)
