Forum badges

Post by jen »

Maybe something like a badge that could be down loadable for special evenings.
It is a great show that people do come and see. Because it's not
just a show for adults, or just for children, or just for people that
like theatre, I'd say for everyone, and it's got so much emotion
behind it. Because who ever comes and sees it, feels the story -
so I think: it's brilliant!" (GM)

So you mean so people can wear and spot another forum member ?

Sure some of the members can get their thinking caps for that one :D

The concept is great though Jen!

Some may recall we had just such badges in the early days of the defunct forum. I still used mine for the last several cast change performances in London. I suppose I could post a photo of those badges to examine as a starting point for making our own. But only if showing the logo of the other forum is permissible. Since one person probably still owns the rights to everything connected with that board, posting a badge using that logo here might not be permitted. Your opinion, NIKKIE-NIKKIE?

It would not be appropriate to put the previous badge on here, as you state it is related to another forum.

I think if we had a badge it should be subtle, sophisticated and suitable for both sexes. :?

How about something really simple like this:

It could be the size of a button badge - recognizeable but not to over stated.
Do you really need name on them, once you recognise someone you can just introduce yourself :D
I really quickily did this to demonstrate how simple it could be.

My only criticism with yours Hammy is actual logo itself - surely it would be better to use the one you see on here at the top? But otherwise nice and simplistic! :)

Well exactly - that's the sort of idea. And of course is one step better than mine in the fact it has the updated logo and URL.
