Colby's unique take on the role of Small Boy will be remembered for a long time!
Interesting to note that, while touring with Oliver!, he acted alongside Samantha Barks (Nancy) (Les Mis 25th Anniversary) and Daniel Huttlestone (Dodger) Les Miserables (film).porschesrule wrote:Here's a story about Oliver Breedon who plays Tall Boy in BETMUK. Though the story begins with the sentence: "A Wokingham theatre school pupil has landed himself a role in Billy Elliot in the West End", Oliver has been in the show since his debut in November. But as the story has a dateline of today, and to my knowledge hasn't been previously posted anywhere on the Forum, I'm posting it here.
Some interesting background info on Oliver in the story: he appears to be another example of how carefully even the "bit" parts of the show are cast. Oliver is a true triple threat, as he has displayed in other shows he's been in. The fact that he is "just acting" in BETM as he says, and not utilizing his dance and singing skills, is evidence of the terrific talent of the entire cast of the show.
