One of the iconic scores of Stephen Sondheim, Follies, will be performed at The Royal Albert Hall for one day only on April 28, 2015. Great seats are available through BritishTheatre.com for the matinee and evening performance of this unique special event.
Ruthie will take part!

In this Broadway.com interview with Ruthie, one thing I learned from her comments about how hard it is when kids leave the cast as they "get under your skin and in your heart" is that Mitchell Tobin left the show because his work visa had run out.

A glowing review of The Magic of the Musicals:
“It was an absolute honour to have Ruthie appearing in The Magic of the Musicals. Over the course of her career, she has appeared in some of the highest grossing musicals ever written including Les Miserables, Miss Saigon, Cats and currently Billy Elliot. Her professionalism and experience shone through in her captivating performances and what an experience for the choir to work with her.”

What a star Ms Henshall is!

Next time you watch the show, watch the first big dance class number.

How can the kids NOT be fired up by the energy she puts into that? I think the kids are pretty amazing, and don't "need" help... but how can it NOT help them to be amazing, to be alongside someone giving such a great lead for them?

Doesn't she have some line in the show along the lines of "... It nearly killed me"? I expect she's looking back at "Razzle Dazzle" when she says it! Her "Angry Dance", do you think?
