Re: Euan Garrett - Billy
I seem to remember a discussion on the Forum a number of years ago when people were trying to figure out what exactly Tim Healy - the first Dad in the London show - was saying on the original cast recording during "Solidarity." It was the point when Dad confronts Billy about what he's been doing with his 50p and Billy says, "Going to boxing, where did you think?" At about 4:55 in the song as Tony's trying to get his attention to leave, Dad finally yells back at Billy - in his thick, Geordie accent - something that sounds like, "I'll see you later, Euan !" At the time, someone on the Forum joked that maybe Tim Healy was talking to Ewan McGregor ! But maybe he knew all along that Euan Garrett would someday be a part of the show.

I think the line is, "I'll see you later, young'un." But I could be wrong about that.

Euan sounds like a dead canny young'un like - pleasant personality and great skills.
