David Bardsley - Alternate Dad

Post by ERinVA »

It is amazing that David Bardsley, that stalwart member of the cast, has never actually had his own thread!

So here it is.

David will be joining the cast of the new production of Titanic, which will play the Charing Cross Theatre from 28 May to 6 August, 2016:

A fine example of how someone can be an important part of an enterprise without being at the top of the billing. I enjoyed his portayal of both parts. In an uncertain world, it must have been nice for the people at the sharp end that they had a person on hand, for a long time, WELL capable of stepping in to either role.

When did he start in the show?

He started on 5th Dec 2005 according to the Final Ensemble chart listed here:

So he was in the cast almost from the very beginning.

Here's an interesting video, taken at Brodie's final curtain call where David reveals that he actually started in BETM at a workshop in 2003. He also reveals that his daughter was a ballet girl !
