George Maguire

Post by jen »

We need to have a topic for one of the original 3.
It is a great show that people do come and see. Because it's not
just a show for adults, or just for children, or just for people that
like theatre, I'd say for everyone, and it's got so much emotion
behind it. Because who ever comes and sees it, feels the story -
so I think: it's brilliant!" (GM)

My first Billy back in November 2005. That is when it all started for me.

He was AMAZING, to use a George word!

Just to say that George is appearing in Renaissance which is a one of "Zombie Drama" related to ITV's moving wallpapers series. He plays Alan Dales son Tom. Moving Wallpapers is on a Friday night Channel 3 at 9pm. there have been odd glimpses of George in some episodes.

Here you can read the summary of the content of the six episodes of Moving Wallpaper
(they are mostly on the relations between director and staff and some events behind the
scenes during the making of that funny Zombie movie "Renaissance"):

And here you can find the broadcast dates for "Moving Wallpaper" (should be on Friday
evenings at 9 PM on ITV1):

Sadly the online video clips seem only to work inside the UK:

And so far sadly no date for "Renaissance”:

But here are a few stills from "Moving Wallpaper" - 2nd and 4th episode (they had only
short glimpses of two shots from that "Renaissance" movie in them). George plays one
of “Dad” Alan Dale’s children – not a massive part, but a start:

Just thought I would post this photo taken at the front of the VP after the May 12 Gala. It's one of my favorites. :D

In those stills from rennaissance - yes, it really nearly looks a bit like that :D
- just that he had always the light-blue one...

And here my pic frome nearly the same moment after the 12 May 2006 Gala -
so we must have been standing very near to each other, Ellen:

Just to say that Renaissance is now available to view on ITV.com/moving wallpapers. No information yet if it is to be shown on mainstream TV. I have Emailed them though a few days ago but no reply. Maybe I sent it to the wrong address. Does anyone know how to or can anyone download or upload it so that people from outside the UK can view it? Many thanks.
