I'll bet this will be a terrific show!
I will have to wait until it comes to Broadway, hopefully, with its original cast.

Here's a great interview with Haydn, Paul Ritter and Nathaniel Parker about their new play, "The Audience." http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b01qwk3z
Haydn plays Margaret Thatcher. Just listen to her voice!
I have a ticket to see this in May. Looking forward to it.

This interview with Haydn, from her dressing room at the Imperial on Broadway, has just popped up on youtube. I'm sure a lot of us have heard it before, but it's worth another listen. It's a brilliant interview.

Haydn Gwynne in murder mystery
I was watching "The Midsomer Murders," a British TV series, on Netflix last night and who should pop up as a character in the episode "Ghosts of Christmas past," but Haydn Gwynne, who a year or two later would be cast as the original Mrs Wilkinson in the London production of BETM. Of course she later reprized the role in the Broadway production. I first met Haydn in London in 2005 and found her to be a delightful person, one of the adult cast members who always had time to talk to us fans at the stage door. And when I waited outside the Imperial stage door following her first Broadway performance as Mrs Wilkinson, as soon as she spotted me, Haydn rushed over to where I was standing and gave me a big hug! A very special lady.

Haydn Gwynne received an award as Best Supporting Actress in a Play in the 2014 What'sOnStage Awards:

Beloved Brit Dame Helen Mirren was recognized for her performance in The Audience with the Best Actress in a Play award. Her castmate Haydn Gwynne (seen on Broadway in Billy Elliot) took home the accolade for Best Supporting Actress in a Play.
