TAVEN BLANKE* (Billy) is beyond excited to make his debut at The Goodspeed with such a talented group of performers. Taven’s passion for musical theater and dance began at the age of 8. His favorite roles include Jojo in Seussical, Young Simba in Lion King, and Colin Craven in Secret Garden. He would like to thank all the wonderful people that have supported and mentored him, including Allison Horner, John Hay, Jennifer Johns, Jimmy Larkin, Shannon Kane, Tim Nelson, his sister Timari, and his dog Prince. little Taven is a diamond in the rough. He did a very credible performance. He had all his lines down pat and appeared to be concentrating on where he should be on stage next. He looked a bit nervous at first but that soon disappeared. By the end of his performance he was comfortable enough to be more animated and I expect that he will improve with every performance. He is a real trooper

Taven will play Michael Banks in "Mary Poppins" at Rose Center Theater, Westminster, CA, February 21-March 8.
