[quote]Four years ago, dancer Harrison Lee was invited to New York to audition to play Billy Elliot on Broadway. He danced and sang his heart out but missed out on the part by a few centimetres.

''They were looking for someone under four foot 11 (1.5 metres) and Harrison was just a tiny bit too tall,'' mother Cindy said.

Thanks for the article. It's clear that being too tall for Billy hasn't stopped Harrison's progress in the world of dance. :D

Yes, McDonald College was where the Billys trained and were housed while the show was in Sydney.

I am relieved to know that there is a McDonald College teaching more than burger flipping and super sizing!

The 2015 YAGP finals will be held in NYC starting today, running through next week.

The BETM community is represented this year by one former Billy: #332 Myles Erlick,
and one former Tall/Posh Boy: #516 Parker Garrison.

Myles competes in both Senior Men Contemporary (Ages 15–17) and Men Classical (Age 16-19).
Parker is listed in the Pre-Competitive categories for the younger dancers.

Best of luck this week boys! :D

Any YAGP BETM-related outcomes this year report-worthy?

It doesn't look like the 2015 winners have been listed on the site at this point. :( You would think they would be there by now. :?

Although the index page doesn't show it, clicking on the 2014 NYC Winners link takes you to this page showing the 2015 Winners.
Congrats to Parker Garrison for finishing in the top 6 men, in the Pre-Competitive Age Division!
