TV Series: Bates Motel on A&E

Post by ERinVA »

Freddie Highmore, one of our favorite young actors, is soon to be Norman Bates in A&E's "Bates Motel." Given the creative team behind it, this show is probably going to be big! Set your DVR's for March 18. :D Oh, wait! I don't have a DVR. :( Guess I'll just have to make sure I'm home to watch it. 8-)

I just saw a promotion for this show in the ads that are now shown at the local Regal Cinema before trailers of upcoming movies. That's how I knew about it.

I actually need to catch up on my viewing of Freddie's most recent films, as they did not show up in our multiplex. I am familiar with Master Harold... of course, but I did not realize there was a recent film of it with Freddie in the lead. And I definitely need to see Toast. It's actually written by Lee Hall, and it looks like great fun! 8-)

Freddie has been acting from a very early age in over 20 movies a lot of TV work. I did not care much for August Rush (over done- silly in parts) but here is an interview with Freddie talking about the film. He is so engaging and bright. http://youtu.be/u2h68o72O1o

Here is the trailer from “Toast” which I have yet to see

Here is the Trailer from “The Art of Getting By” http://youtu.be/-8S5LEvffac

Here is a great interview with the college age Freddie http://youtu.be/kGsEf-6LfY4

Sorry if these have been previously posted

I'm sorry, but have I just been asleep for the past decade? When did this kid grow up all of a sudden??? =) Wow! So glad he's doing well still.

Here's another lovely interview. Be warned. It's longer than the usual press junket interview. I have to say that I am very impressed by this interview. He is extremely articulate. Unlike many people when speaking "off the cuff," he doesn't use a lot of "uh's" and "you know's."

It happens! Jamie Bell is married now, too, and a dad-to-be. Time moves on.
