This very detailed article provides some good insights into BETM Chicago, such as whether it will stay or move to Toronto with the same cast. Very interesting reading.

Very good article. It gives insight that there will be some significant technical differences from the other productions:
- Chicago “Billy Elliot” is going to be different from New York, Australia and London (all of which had similar stagings).

- does not feature Billy's house rising up from an excavated basement and has a variety of new staging ideas

Well, we now know that it's very likely, in fact for sure, that there will be 14 musicians in the pit for the Chicago production:
