I don't know why matinees would be any more "confining" than evening performances, but you are right that he seems to have been doing matinees so far. I imagine that he has also been backup for the evening performances on the days that he has done matinees.

Actually I believe he would have been standby for the performance the night before rather than the same evening of his own performance as that is the standard procedure they usually use.
But I also don't read anything into the fact that so far Giuseppe has done only matinees and believe it is entirely a coincidence.

Guess we will find out when the reviews come out and we see which Billy they write the reviews about.
