Another BETM alumnus will play the role of The Artful Dodger in a production of Oliver! -- Spencer has been announced to play the Dodger in the Insight Theatre Company's production for 12 performances in June:

Since that page gives no clue to where the Insight Theatre Company is located, I searched around a bit to find that it's in Webster Groves, MO. So if anyone lives near by and wants to go to see the show, that's where you'll find it.

Here is a number Spencer sang at a recital last year, posted yesterday on his mom's public Facebook. I don't think many of us have heard him sing before. He has a very nice voice. :D

I really liked the song itself, "Heaven at the RKO". Does anyone know where it is from?

Something rings a bell......I recall a line like it from the musical 'My Favorite Year' which won a Tony for Tim Curry (as Best Actor) in about 1992 or so....................I think the line went something like this:

'Here's a nickel kid, cheer up and go. And though I was only seven I discovered heaven at the RKO.'

Anyone else have a better idea?
