Psycho

It was you
No, Ray. It was YOU.

This movie should be soooooo sappy...but I still broke down sobbing at this scene.

Field of Dreams.

Shoeless Joe Jackson.............

Another weepy:

Who said this - in what film?

'Pepinot was right all along. Clement Mathieu was fired on a Saturday.'

Check out the video links in the Favorite Treble Choirs thread. You'll see him in a couple of those.

Let's return to the game:

A silly throwaway quote from (in my view) a poor remake of a classic British film:

Name the film. And its release date!

'Daddy, you can't expect me to stay here. It's like Hogwarts for Pikeys!'

Come on! I will give you a hint:

It is the version of the film with Russell Brand, not with the wonderful Alastair Sim.

Hmmm...it is one of those weird 1970's quotes.....could be Blazing Saddles......or............

The Outlaw Josie Wales.............

in which case...um......Lone Waite.......(Chief Dan George)???????

This one is a real early 1970's throwback: the first film I saw my second night in the UK as an 18 year old American embarking on a new adventure......this quote stuck with me as a sort of lesson, to come:

'In all the world, there is no impurity so impure as old age.'

The Film? That is all.

OK - this is from a 2012 movie featuring characters made famous through countless Saturday morning kids' movie and cartoon shows shown down at every American town's movie theater for 35c - plus a quarter for a box of Good n Plentys or Milk Duds - (remember the look of desperation - nay, terror :o - on the face of the cinema manager, begging us to quiet down, to no avail?):

A: So, you boys on Facebook? I'll poke you. Better yet, I'll tweet you.
C: Oh! Tweet us to dinner? Soitenly!

Gene Wilder. Willy Wonka. It is a reference to Tort Law.

Jon - my reference was to the 2012 Three Stooges film.

If you remember Good and Plentys, you may remember this hero of tv and film for those of us growing up in the boomer years........just the name of the character/actor (they are the same)......and 'the Pal':

Golden horses - that's what they call the palominos. And palominos have quite a history. You know, the history of my own palomino began right here at this ranch. If I hadn't-a gone through that gate a few years back, I'd never have gotten my pal, xxxxxxx
