I really like the video, but I am a bit confused; most of the women are very encouraging, but 5,6, and 8 are gay Americans, correct? I didn't really understand some of it.

The video is in reference to the recent suicides of two American gay teenagers who were bullied/treated horribly by other young people.
One was a 13 year old, and the other was a 19 year old college student whose roommate in the dormitory set up a webcam in their room, and from a friend's room remotely streamed live video on the web of the young man and his gay date in his dorm room. A few days later, the young man jumped to his death from the George Washington Bridge between New Jersey and New York. The roommate and friend who broadcast the encounter have been charged with invasion of privacy, but that is the only charge against them at the moment.
So the youtube video by the Chicago cast and other videos made by various actors, celebs, etc. are aimed at letting young people who are being bullied because of being gay, or being different in any way at all, know that they can get through it and come out the other end to lead happy and successful lives.

JP, Marcus and Myles performed "Electricity" at the recent Juba Awards in Chicago before being presented the 2010 JUBA Award for inspiring a new generation to live the dream of dance. Presented by Chicago Human Rhythm Project.
What struck me is that the choreography is identical to that used by Kiril, David and Trent when they were promoting the show in it's pre-Broadway opening days. Look at this video of them and compare:
