What do you call BETF affcianados?
What do you call BETF affcianados?
Just ran across this definition...
"Balletomanes": ballet lovers well versed in the intricacies of the art with a broader horizon of appreciation. Balletomanes attend every performance, travel to far away dance venues, watch videos, read reviews and know the reputations of many of the dancers.
Perhaps this term could be adapted and applied to
"B.Elliotomanes"

I've come to the conclusion there is no satisfactory nickname for us. Many have been suggested and ALL are too "cute" by far...and calling me a Billyver will get you 2 fingers with all due respect to it being the "Official" one.

Eltonjohn, by referring to BETF, are you talking about the film instead of BETM, the show?

Re: What do you call BETF affcianados?
The reason I asked about BETF is that it is the usual way members on here have referred to the film (Billy Elliot the Film) as opposed to BETM (Billy Elliot the Musical). We haven't ever referred to the Forum as BETF that I'm aware of.
I vote for referring to the members of the Forum as "Forum Members."

Or simply 'Fans'. It seems simple, and covers a number of those who appreciate this musical.
