The latest bunch of traveller reviews of the London show from tripadvisor are all very positive:

This blog review of the London show has been around for a while, but I don't recall ever having seen it before:

That is a gushing blog review indeed. Just one thing though:

"Elton John's compositions for Billy Elliot may not be as instantly memorable as songs from shows like Les Miserables or Wicked, but that's not to say I haven't had the songs on constant replay in my head for the past three weeks."

Huh?

I took it that she liked the music enough that it stuck with her, even though she thought it was the weakest part of the show.

This blogger praises the musical highly, but first he writes about what a musical is today and what it was in the past. Quite interesting :) I think maybe he saw the show some time agos since he writes about Liam, James and George...

It almost makes me sick to the stomach to read that. Billy Elliot has a much more sophisticated score than either Les Miserables or Wicked. Les Miserables and Wicked are both shows that have relied on spectacle to make up for their sub-par writing. The lyrics in Wicked, for example, are simply cringe-worthy. They're simply not comparable with the true poetry of a song such as "Deep into the Ground", for instance.

It looks like computer-generated content made to bump up the Google PageRank of the links contained in it by appearing to be authentic web content. It reads much like computer language translation, but I think it is that the computer was programmed to reword and recombine information from a variety of other sources.

I think "Shelter Lounge" refers to "Lee Hall". The lee side of an island is the side sheltered from the wind. A beer hall is a kind of lounge. So, Shelter Lounge is Lee Hall. The text also mentions a film you may have seen, "Several Wedding parties along with a Funeral". I think there were actually four weddings, to be more specific. ;)

Anyway, it's not much of a review, but I found it hilarious.
