So will the tenth anniversary show be around the same time next year, is that how this all works? And have they announced that VPT will have BETM all the way through 2015?

Yes, the real anniversary is May 12, but they have done it on March 31, which is the date of the first preview. When the important people are going to be there, they have to work it into their schedules. The 5th was on March 31 because Daldry had a film in the running at Cannes in May. Many of us already had our trips planned for May and couldn't change arrangements, so we missed the big show. :( But the May one was fun anyway.

The show will still be around in 2015 so far as we know at this point. There should be no problem with it making the 10-year mark.

The official BETMUK Facebook page has added some photos from last night's show and the celebration which followed:

Great photos! Stephen Daldry did not shove the Billy's faces in the cake this year!

It was .... an amazing evening. This show goes from strength to strength. There is something about it which elevates it above most others.

So me thinks we should try to find out in advance if possible when they will schedule BETMUK10 ... Like could we maybe find out through SD's people once it's been decided? I

will defer to those of you who know how best to further this idea along.

I'm sure once a date has been agreed then it will be made public.

I asked people at the theatre the other night and they had no idea when it would be. I'm guessing that the "powers at be" are still working out people's schedules.
