The ticketing site for BETM in Los Angeles is now up, but the information about when sales will start says TBA.

According to the official tour web site (http://www.billyelliottour.com/tickets.php) the dates for L.A. have now been shortened to 4/12-5/13 2012

Shortened by three weeks. Great for the bank account. Bad for the soul.

I'm thinking this run, albeit shortened, can & will do a bit of damage to the bank account.

They shouldn't have shortened this run. Tickets are selling so fast that I'm afraid I won't be able to go now. I just can't make plans this far in advance. This sucks! I mean it's good for the tour, but bad for me. LA was my only hope!

You expect a month long run of sellouts? I think that's a bit optimistic. I think you'll be fine getting tickets when the time comes.

I'm looking at weekend shows only and the April shows are almost sold out already and the May shows are well on their way with most of the good seats already gone. If you look at the maps on ticketmaster you'll see what I mean. When the time comes, there may be a seat or two up in the nose bleeds, but there's no way I'll pay airfare and hotel costs to sit where I can't see. Any trip like this, after the horrendous year I just had, is already a stretch to pull off financially. So I'm now putting it out of mind. I no longer have high hopes for this trip, for good reason.
