Flying from Calgary to Vancouver... with the time zone change, one hour is gained.
I believe, according to SETA, that trips by road less than nine hours are fine, but over nine hours the cast must fly.
This intercity journey is commonly done by bus, but it can be a pretty gruelling haul via Greyhound since there are mountain passes and truck stops.
From the Noah P pic posted on his public face book wall ystrdy, it would appear that some of the BETM entourage might have departed Calgary by coach, passing through Banff National Park (stopping at scenic Banff townsite) en route to the west coast.

And do you have a link for that photo, please? References to things posted on facebook, twitter, etc. should be linked. If they are not public, then they should not be discussed on here.

I do know that Noah's page is public, so please go back and provide us with a link to the photo. 8-)

I do not know about public links, but I very much hope Noah and others visited Banff and Lake Louise. These are world class sites that must be seen.

The thing that impresses me is that this tour appears to encourage an education beyond tutoring and performing. For all of the sacrifices of touring for children, surely this is correct?

I agree with you about the educational experiences. And from what I can gather, the kids do get to do something educational or special in each place they visit.
